Year 12 English is a writing exam, and writing improves through marked repetition — not through re-reading notes. Our Units 3–4 groups are built around that single fact: students write every week, work is marked properly, and the exam is practised under exam conditions long before November.
Text response, argument and language analysis, and the oral each have their own logic and their own traps. We teach them as separate crafts rather than as generic essay writing, and we align the term with the order your school assesses them.
Running out of time, blanking on a prompt, writing a strong second essay and a weak first — these are technique problems with technique fixes. Planning under pressure, prompt decoding in five minutes, and knowing what to sacrifice when time runs short are all taught and drilled.
If it is already mid-year, the honest answer is that there is still meaningful ground to make up — argument analysis and exam technique in particular move quickly. Places are capped though, so the sooner you enrol the more likely we can place your child in the right group.
No — analysis skills and exam technique respond fast. Spots are limited though, so enrol as early as you can.
Yes, against the assessment criteria, with feedback specific enough to change the next attempt.
Where your school runs it, yes — we teach the tasks you are actually being assessed on.
Groups are capped, so places for Term 4 genuinely run out. Tell us about the student and we'll call within 24 hours.
Every set text we teach has an in-house study guide. Read the themes, essay approach and the first few pages free.
